The lake of the island (including: Saarjärv, Saarejärv, Lake Saaremõisa) is located in Jõgevamaa in the Mustavee municipality in the village of Saarjärvi. The lake is located in the south-east of Vooremaa. About 2.5 km east of the lake are located in Jõemõisa and Kaiu lake. Vegetation is species-rich: there are 25 types of macrophytes. The fish are dominated in latica, there are some fewer shirts, pink shirts, bowls, corners, linsea, cock and so on.
