Lake Maardu (also Lake Liivakandi) is a lake in Harjumaa in the southern part of the city of Maardu. The lake is 160 hectares large and round shape, the largest depth reaches 3.7 meters. Located 33 m high above the sea level in northern Estonia. The flow is relatively strong, the crawl flows in and sources are present, the flow takes place through the Croodi stream Other Gulf. The lake of Maardu was a natural water body which, after the digging of the roof, was empty in 1894.
