Penijõe Manor (in German Pennijöggi) was a knightman Manor in Lihula County in Läänemaa. In the present time the manor remains in Lääneranna municipality of Pärnu County. The manor was built at the beginning of the 17th century. The manor belonged to the Wetter-Rosenthals at the beginning of the 20th century and the last owner (1919) was Johannes von Wetter-Rosenthal. Today the main building of the manor has been transformed into the centre of the nature reserve area of Matsalu, where there is also a museum to introduce the nature reserve. Wikipedia
