ABOUT THE CITY
The capital city of Latvia - Riga - is situated on the shores of river Daugava - only a few kilometers from the Gulf Of Riga.
Riga - one of the biggest cities of Baltic region - was officially established in 1201 and its old town is included in UNESCO World Heritage list. Riga is 304,05 km2 in area and has a population of about 700 000 people.
